LDC Consulting is a compliance management company that is cutting edge in both technology and quality assurance. The owners of LDC have over 15 years combined healthcare experience. When LDC was formed, we saw a need for a company that could assist the hospital with qualified supplemental staffing in a consistent and timely manner. This duty in itself is tedious, time consuming and not the best use of their resources and/or time. These challenges take away from their ability to focus on more pressing issues such as staff training, recruiting and procedure awareness. With the new law passed by congress, effective October, 2008, Medicare will no longer pay for preventable hospital mistakes, referenced in the Deficit Reduction Act of 2005. By relieving the hospitals of the monotonous, yet very important task of file management, it allows them to concentrate on areas of concern within the facility.
With this in mind LDC consulting is aware of these challenges and has the professionalism and expertise to alleviate these staffing concerns. Our number one goal is to maintain quality assurance on an ongoing basis for the Hospitals. This is done through detailed file management and extensive communication. Our partnership with Blue Sky software is efficient and user friendly, it has the capability to track documentation and alert us of expiring items at any time. We will make sure the file is 100% complete prior to the assignment start date and further more will maintain the file to ensure documentation is current and valid at all times. We cut out the hassle of the hospitals having to make numerous calls to the Agencies in order to obtain pre-assignment documentation which may flow in one piece at a time.
